Practice Profile

A Chartered Building Surveying and Architectural Services Practice established for some thirtyfour years.

The Practice is run by Paul Scott MSc MRICS, AMCABE, IHBC. who has extensive experience in the building industry gained from working in both the public and private sectors.

The general area of operation is London and East Anglia, however the Practice can cover the whole of the UK and has worked as far afield as Scotland and South West France.

The complete range of building related professional services is offered encompassing the survey, design, conversion, extension and refurbishment of all types and sizes of existing and proposed new buildings. This comprehensive service is provided, where necessary, in association with our specialist property consultants including Chartered Town Planners, Quantity Surveyors and Structural Engineers.

Architectural Services

Plan preparation for residential and commercial projects comprising new build, extensions, alterations and conversions.

Winner of Brentwood Borough Council's Environmental Award 1989 for five private dwelling houses and associated landscaping.

Commended by Braintree District Council's Environmental Heritage Awards Panel 1992 for another housing development.

Planning, Building Regulations & Other Applications

From initial Planning advice, with a feasibility study if necessary, through to Planning and Building Regulation applications. We have a well established, good working relationship with local Statutory Authorities. We are experienced in Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas, Planning and Enforcement Notice appeals.

In addition to the design/applications process, we are also able to provide the complete professional service for building projects from inception to completion. This comprises the preparation of a fully detailed specification, obtaining competitive tenders from contractors, contract administration and ongoing construction monitoring.
